The Velvet Bridge is a monumental mural by world-renowned Czech-American artist, Peter Sís, composed of more than 6,600 hand-painted ceramic tiles. Soon to be installed on a wall in Prague’s Kampa Park in spring 2026, the mural tells the story of Czechoslovakia’s struggles and triumphs from its founding in 1918 to the Velvet Revolution of 1989 led by Václav Havel.
