The “Freedom Flight” film uses Celestial’s creative drone technology combined with immersive cinematic photography, music and poetry, to tell a profound story of connection and solidarity.

Freedom Flight is a unique piece of drone art commissioned by Art for Human Rights and produced by Drone Theatre Producers Celestial to celebrate Amnesty International’s 60th anniversary.

The aim of the project was to tell a profound story of connection and solidarity, inspiring new audiences to stand up for universal human rights.

The piece was filmed in five iconic landmarks in all five continents: Robben Island, Cape Town; the Sydney Opera House; Zócalo Square in Mexico City; the Jama Masjid Mosque in New Delhi and the Palais de Chaillot in Paris, where the Universal Declaration of Human Rights was adopted in 1948.
