Since 2014, Art for Human Rights has commissioned memorial busts of human rights heroes Eleonor Roosevelt, Liu Xiaobo and Václav Havel and has placed them in iconic locations around the world.
Designed by Maria Šeborová, seven busts of Václav Havel were unveiled in Mexico City, Dublin, Manitoba, Strasbourg, New York, Prague and Podgorica.
Eight busts of Eleonor Roosevelt were presented in cities including Middelburg, Holland; Ljubljana, Slovenia; Auronzo, Italy; Paris, New York City; Tivoli, New York and Geneva.
One Lu Xiaobo bust was unveiled in DOX Prague in April 2019 and one at the Irish Centre for Human Rights at the University of Galway in September 2024.
